George Hatsopoulos is CEO of Pharos LLC, where he supports leading edge business ventures. Born into a science-oriented family in Greece, Dr. Hatsopoulos came to the US to attend MIT. In 1956 he founded Thermo Electron Corporation (now ThermoFisher Scientific) and ran it for more than 40 years. He is also the author of textbooks in both thermodynamics and thermionic energy conversion.
