After more than 20 years of research, Elizabeth Goldring, a senior fellow at MIT's Center for Advanced Visual Studies, developed a remarkable "seeing machine" that allows people who are blind or visually challenged to access the Internet and see things that they never thought possible. Using her "seeing machine," Goldring can take pictures and see them with her blind eye.
