Barrie Zesiger is a life member of the MIT Corporation and served twice on its Executive Committee. Ms. Zesiger also served on the search committees that nominated MIT’s current president Susan Hockfield, MIT's former chairman Dana Mead, and MIT’s current chairman John Reed. She and her husband are longtime friends to the Institute, and it is their name that graces the popular Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center at MIT.
